Check out the
One of the best things about the WWW is the amazing numbers of
sites that want to give you things (services, samples, info...) for free. This page is
mainly to do with setting up your own free web site. If theres not enough here for you
check out links to other free stuff site, or follow the Free Stuff web ring

So, you're online surfing the WWW. What next. Well, you can work on your own web
site! If you don't have a home on the internet yet there are a range of sites that will
give you free web space.
Once you've got the space you'll probably need an editor
of some type (although many of these sites have their own web page generators). If
you have Netscape or Internet Explorer you may already have one.
Netscape 4 comes packaged with Composer, a perfectly serviceable HTML editor, while IE4
has Frontpage Express.
Web pages can be simple and boring or visually pleasing. You might decide that graphics are in order. Not a graphical designer? No worries. Once
again free stuff available.
Next, and probably most importantly, you want people to come to your site. Advertise! And get banners to do it.
Other features to add to your pages could be a counter
(to keep track of the no. of visitors), a guest book or mailing lists. And yes they're all available free!
